“De Mujer a Mujer is the best place to feel inspired by accomplished Spanish/Latin women while having the opportunity to meet them and listen to their amazing stories. It also is a networking event that provides opportunities to inspire and be inspired by women who daily make a positive impact to our society. Finally, it is the venue that shows the power and distinction of Spanish/Latin women and the strong influence they make to the economic growth of our community.”
Roxana Volk, Benefits Coordinator, Community Outreach, United Health Care
“De Mujer a Mujer provides a platform for Latina women in the local community to gather and differs from all other programs the Chamber offers. Mujer shines the spotlight on local women that come in to share their stories of personal struggles and how they triumphed to become successful women. The speakers show how they have risen from some of the greatest trials in their life; where they have experienced defeat and sometimes multiple failures. Each woman has been successful in creating a path to better themselves, their families, and their communities. These women without realizing it are empowering other Latina’s to overcome the obstacles in their life and to create something better for themselves. Their courage, passion, and perseverance are what inspire and motivate the attendees of Mujer and I am proud to be a part of such a great group of women that represent Berks County.”
